Goldfields Cottage is one of Beechworth's older miner's cottages circa 1857, renovated to a high standard and situated centrally in the heart of the historic gold mining town of Beechworth.
Goldfields Cottage is a fully self contained three bedroom cottage with two queen and one twin rooms, individually styled, all supplied with luxury linen, Egyptian cotton and quality Australian wool quilts.
There is a choice of sumptuous pillows throughout and electric blankets to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. Each bedroom features an iPod docking station.
The lounge is spacious, modern, comfortable and relaxing with leather sofas and a huge log fire and split system for heating and cooling. It also features a large LCD television and a DVD player with a selection of movies completing the entertainment package.
The unique bathroom has a Victorian claw foot roll top bath with a separate brass rainfall shower. An interesting feature in the bathroom is the exposed brick chimney from the living room fireplace and the beautiful cathedral ceiling. Soft Egyptian cotton towels and toiletries complete the setting.
The kitchen is modern large and fully equipped, a welcome supply of gourmet tea and coffee is provided; it also retains the original feature fireplace and has a working cast iron log burning fire.
A separate laundry with front loading washing machine is located off the rear veranda.
Children's books and toys are provided as are a selection of DVDs, books and games for guests wishing to absorb the cottage ambience.
Porta cot, toddler bed rail and high chair are provided free of charge, cot bedding not provided.
