Terrible terrible service. The waitress scoffed when I asked for a straw (had full coverage makeup on) for the water which I had to request, and when it arrived after a solid 10 minutes she only brought 2 glasses for the 4 of us. (The other two ordered drinks, but still). At arrival we had to stand awkwardly waiting for someone to greet us, and were only pointed vaguely in the direction of our reserved table, not led. The food was nice, but the bread and ribs were cold. The booths were small and hard to enter/exit, especially in heels. Wouldn't go again, especially not for a date.

Good location, right at bayswater train station. Close enough to airport and the city. The room im staying in is excellent, modern, clean and well appointed. The car park is secured behind a gate. Not such a good place for kids. No playground and outside is just a sleazy old pub with a few noisy drunks. However, an excellent and cheap room to hold up for a few days in town.

First impressions count, and a completely dismissive welcome lacking any warmth or friendliness put me off instantly. The room itself is small but clean and functional. I could rail hear people walking outside the door on the creek floor. Close to the train station and has a bistro. However the area lacks any substantial eateries of any quality. Cheap but clean and good for those travelling on a budget that don't need luxuries but appreciate a clean and comfy room

Quality Hotel Bayswater

Quality Hotel Bayswater has some interesting information on why Australia is called the land down under?
Australia is known as 'the land Down Under' for its position in the southern hemisphere. The discovery of Australia began when European explorers searched for land under the continent of Asia. Before Australia was discovered, it was known as Terra Australis Incognita the unknown southern land.
