The one grocery store carries fair but limited goods - you can't be too fussy but basics are available. If you have special requirements - bring it with you! Pubs and eateries are OK, Kalbarri is on the mend from the cyclone in 2021. The national park, pelican feeding, sunset cruise, boat hire and fishing trips will keep you busy for a few days and it's perfect for relaxation and that 'wait awhile' WA feeling! And the sunsets are next to none...

Kalbarri is most certainly worth a stay. The coastline is breathtakingly beautiful, with some lovely beaches, it offers great hiking opportunities, just make sure you choose the right time of the year for that. It can be very hot! Some nice restaurants to enjoy fresh caught fish.

Best little town, great food, friendly people, reasonably priced. Everything is close by so didn’t have to take the car out of parking. Hiring a little boat to go through the Murchison was great. Every place we went for food was amazing, big portions, good prices, fresh food. What else would you want? The bakery is better than anything I found in bigger towns. Buddha Bites restaurant was amazing and the pork bites to die for. Gilgai Tavern was so friendly and accomodating, the barramundi was so fresh and the steak cooked to perfection.

A beautiful, tranquil place. IGA shop is convenient. Bakers is to die for as is the butcher. You will love it. Stayed at Kalbarri Palm Resort. Super pool area and relaxation spot. Has a little spa. Friendly people and the big outdoors on your door step. We will be back for sure!!

It is a most picturesque and natural area. We had something to do each day. Even on Christmas Day when most places were closed we were able to go to the National Park Skywalk, swim at the beach, see pelicans being fed and go on nature trails. A terrific place for a restful break from city life.

We loved our accomodation and we happy to visit the skywalk and all the lookout locations and walks, thoroughly enjoyed feeding the pelicans and watching all the bird life. On problem we found was some of the attractions we closed due to maintenance or only opened on weekends. Apart from that it was still a beautiful peaceful place to visit.
