    One of the most underrated restaurants/bars in Surry Hills. Fabulous food - the sister of Bar Barretto - no one seems to get it. A perfect date place with kind lighting and low key.

    Romantic and ambient. Lots of good Italian options in area but one of the coziest ones around.

    Tremendous little Italian wine bar. The atmosphere of the place is the absolute winner here. The layout is like a set of disjoint nooks and crannies, creating a very intimate space. The music is noticeable, but not too loud, so you can actually hear your companions. A very cute, very comfortable place to spend an evening. As for the wine, the wine list is not giant, but for myself (pretty useless when it comes to wine, and very useless when it comes to Italian wine) it helps not to have a phone book sized tome to decipher. We tried three bottles last night, all reasonably priced, which varied from good to superb. The waiters were very helpful in helping us choose wines too. Highly recommended.
