It is owned by the Palazzo Property Group, owner of "Cafe Palazzo" in Norwood and has recently been uplifted from it's old tired interior with up market (a modern decor) materials and finishes to make it simply one of the most stunning hotel venues in the country.

The hotel has 3 bars; The Ivory Lounge, Onyx Bar better known as the sports bar and Philtons Bar, as well as Philtons Restaurant, The Regal Room, up market Gaming Room and an Outdoor Smoking Area.

    Wow , what a lovely find for us for an impromptu lunch on a Friday ! loved everything about the place, the decor , the warming fireplace , the service ! nothing too much trouble (thanks George ) friendly and timely service . The food was awesome, my friend had the salmon steak.(perfectly cooked) truffle creamy mash (to die for !) I had rosemary & lemon chicken with hand cut chips , delicious with generous serves ..Shaw and Smith sav paired perfectly with our meals. Reasonably priced for an upmarket meal , this is a class above "pub grub" and worth the money. Also in the entertainment book which was a bonus . Thanks for a relaxed and delicious lunch,. we will be back for sure soon. :)

    First time I have been there. Very nice and we'll appointed interior. Off street parking. Staff very helpful, friendly and attentive. Meals I saw were nice and well presented. Menu range was a bit limited and food and drink prices are a bit expensive compared to other places.

    A great place for lunch or dinner with family and friends. The service is friendly, good. The menu offers good pub meals and something a bit special at reasonable prices. Not sure why I only gave 4 stars but its not quite 5.

    Had a wonderful evening with great food. Our waiter George was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The chef even organised vegan meals for us which should be on the menu as they were delicious!

    Brilliant, squeaky clean, cost and comfortable heritage type gem. Interesting historical photos and so on. Great meals and great Seniors menu. Must try!
