  I cannot thank 'Gabby' I believe her name is enough for how accommodating she was for my partner and I. Not only did she wait for my partner and I to come to the hotel to check in at around 11pm due to leaving a disgusting hotel and finding the Star Bar last minute, she gave us a deal for staying the 6 nights we were there. She was so incredibly friendly! The room was in pretty great condition, a little stuffy but that was probably just the weather. The food is also really delicious, and we overall loved staying here. The staff, the cleaners, they were all so friendly. We will definitely be staying here on our future trips!

  I've been a regular at The Star Bar for as long as I can recall, sitting alfresco in Charles Street enjoying the sun and a super dry. The atmosphere is just great: cool music, funky bands and events, delicious food, beautiful decor like the painted walls and really friendly attentive staff. The whole place buzzes and is a must-do on any tourist's itinerary, itinerant or not!

  In my experience star bar is a strange venue. Sometimes awesome experience with great specials and good vibe other times too many people and not worth the price for drinks. Most occasions I have been there is the first of these options. Great range of drinks though and a menu that covers a lot of dining choices.
