  Watts on Crown is open all day, every day. We stopped by for dinner on a Thursday evening, and enjoyed great service in a decent local bistro. With scotch eggs and mini kangaroo burgers on offer, you can choose the kind of meal you'd like. My choice of whitebait with black pudding to start was generous and tasty, and a main of pan fried mackerel with roasted sweet potato perfectly cooked. Side orders were exceptional - great chunky fries and green beans with bacon (always a good addition). A short but well executed dessert list and a very reasonably priced wine list finish things off - well worth stopping by for dinner, and the odd scotch egg for lunch would always be a good thing.

  I hope this restaurant is around for years to come! It's a fantastic combination of being informal and relaxed but providing fine dining quality food, and drink! As well as the menu (which regularly changes, as it should), the wine list alone is a reason to come here. The quality for the price should be a real wake up call to other Sydney restaurants! I love coming here for a drink and bite, Sunday roast (nowhere else in Sydney comes close!) mid week dinner, but also for more special occasions (a friend had her 30th upstairs here) - this place does it all and does it amazingly well.

  Went here with a few friends for a Sunday lunch. I went halves in the Summer Roast and Turkey wrapped in Prosciutto. Both were as delicious as they were meticulously well presented. Serving size was moderate but sufficient. Staff came out to ask us what we thought at the end as they had recently changed the menu. It was nice to get value in the form of quality food, presentation and decor as opposed to over-the-top volumes of food. Looking forward to visiting again and trying something else on the menu.

  I dined here with my mother, who had a voucher, and I will definitely be back to pay full-price for the meals. I had stuffed zucchini flowers for entree - they risk tasting bland when deep fried - but these babies were full of flavour. For main, steak. One word: heavenly. The best steak I've eaten in a long time. The salad to accompany the steak was so yum. I usually leave accompany salads on my plate, but the watercress and dressing combination was BOOM! Brilliant. Dessert: Choc. fondant was spot on, oozing out, yum. The service, not too full-on, informative, friendly woman. Mains in their $20s to $30s - very well-priced for the quality. Quiet setting, no Surry Hills/inner-city pretension, so refreshing for me, who works in Surry every day and can get so over it.

  Tiffany an her team put on a great evening for us. Nothing was too much trouble and we worked through ideas to come up with a great event night. The food was fantastic, fresh and remarkable well priced. Thank you!
