    I love this restaurant. Great retro brasserie decor. Excellent service. Lovely food. A busy fun place to dine with wonderful French inspired food choices and wine list.

    This place is pretty expensive, but the food is amazing quality, and the service is very good. I try to come here every time I'm in Sydney, because it's such a consistently good French bistro experience. This time, I had the steak frites, and shared the side of beans special, and my friend had the lamb pie. It was all excellent. We sat on the outdoor terrace, which makes for a lovely view (and is non-smoking! Such a delight!). The view on Ash Place is very pretty at night, with string lights running overhead, and interesting installations of art up and down the alley. I've been here at least half a dozen times, and definitely recommend it if you're after something a bit special while you're in central Sydney.

    Outstanding! The food is spot on, the service was very good, and the wine list leaves nothing to be desired. Absolutely recommend. Hit the royaR George for happy hour first.
