Book Direct with the Owner at Black Bar in Pyrmont with Tourism Bookings WA for all your restaurant and entertainment needs.
Forget about the classics as our Bar Manager Michael Chiem and his team at BLACK Bar are reviving pre-prohibition cocktails and some 'forgotten' drinks. Look out for the hand-chiselled, diamond-shaped ice cubes and Brunch Cocktail, the signature drink everyone's talking about.
With a focus on house made ingredients such as ginger beer, grenadine, whiskey maceration, aged cocktails and reductions with a seasonal influence, we invite you to match these drinks with bar snacks such as Wagyu Sliders, Smoked Fish Crackle and chef Teage Ezard's interpretation of the Reuben.

Atmosphere: 5/5 , very nice and romantic and has a great view Food: 4/5 i have had the steaks here before and they were very good. Last night we got the lobster tail and king prawns which were delicious and very flavour rich. My only complaint was the portion size of the lobster tail for $50 was extremely small, there were literally 3 bite size pieces. We had also ordered the gnocchi , which due to allergies had to have so modifications. Even tho it had to be modified, it was still disgusting. It was too soft and mushy and no flavour and bland....had to send it back! The other complaint i have is that the portion sizes seem to be getting smaller and smaller with time..at $50 per plate average, you expect more than just good flavour..you expect a decent portion Service: 3/5 there were many people that attended and served the table, unfortunately trying to get your waiter's attention was a whole new effort....it took 20 minutes after our food had came out to finally tell the waiter about the gnocchi..and it took 35 minutes to get our bill and another 15 min to pay...even the couple sitting at the table next to us were frustrated for the exact same reason. We had also booked our table 1 week in advance and expected a window seat but they sat us elsewhere. Value for money: 1 stars They are extremely overpriced and the portion sizes are ridiculously small. you will easily spend $70-90 per person for food and will leave hungry. The food is good for the most part tho.
Great place for a fine dine to celebrate a special occasion with great atmosphere and views. Food was good and presentation too. Theres a slight room for improvement in service levels. But on the whole if you have a thing for fine dine in and you love quality food that tastes really great this is the place to be.
