Gibson Wines is a family owned Barossa Valley winery with over twenty years of history producing premium wines which are unique, scarce and fiercely local.
Rob Gibson as a man is kind, generous and thoughtful. In this age of digital marketing and instant celebrity, Rob (known to his mates as Gibbo or the Dirtman), is honest and authentic, characteristics that are reflected in each and every one of his wines. Gibbo’s early years travelling the world for Penfolds have given him a breadth of understanding of viticulture and global wine styles which anyone would be lucky to experience.
Under the Gibson label, bright citrussy Eden Valley Riesling sits alongside The Dirtman, a warm, rich and smooth Barossa Shiraz grown from specific vineyards at Kalimna, Light Pass and Saleyards Road. Each vineyard offers special earth, contributing its own stamp of fruit, spice and complexity.

We enjoyed our wine tour to some of the smaller wineries in the Barossa Valley. Murray Street Vineyards and Langmeil were our top picks. The wine was good but got a bit pricey for the quality at the last winery, which is risky when you’ve been tasting all day. Self control required!! Also bring some snacks as there was no food until 1pm and you need it to balance the tastings. A good day out with no worries for all guests.

An awesome day. Immaculate vehicle. Greg has an amazing knowledge of The history of Adelaide and the wines of the Barossa Valley. He has a great rapport with the cellar door operators and is obviously very respected by them all. Highly recommend all the wines and awesome food, and the whole experience. Thanks Greg

Greig was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. This was a great day out. We were lucky enough to be the only ones on the tour and Greig provided one on one customer service. This was our first time at the Barossa and this was a wonderful tour.

Our day was sensational and forever memorable thanks to Greig our driver & tour guide. My wife and I can’t recommend this tour highly enough! No need to plan anything except book your day with Greig as he is exceptionally knowledgeable and well researched, he had chosen terrific vineyards with exceptional hosts. Our day went into overtime due to our hundreds of questions at the tastings but he took it all in his stride in his commitment to giving you the best day possible. Thanks again Greig and we can’t wait to see you again in March for the harvest with our extended group from the Gold Coast.

Absolutely the most luxury day trip hosted by Greig we enjoyed Wineries not normally visited by larger tours (Our trip consisted of just two persons "Us") Greig is one of the nicest guides we have meet and has exceptional knowledge of the industry. Our lunch was brilliant.

Excellent experience, we had a private tour. We were picked up by Grieg a lovely gentleman who was extremely informative and helpful throughout our trip. We visited 5 wineries for tasting and had a shared platter lunch at one of them. Amazing views and a lovely experience that we would recommend.

This was our second tour with CP Tours in a few days as we enjoyed the first tour experience so much. We chose the Barossa Valley Tour this time and enjoyed every minute of it. Greig and his wife Vesna were wonderful as hosts on the day. We loved the fact their focus was on the small boutique wineries as opposed to going to the big-name brands that most people know. Our favourites on the day were Dell’uva and Murray Street Wines. Stopping at Lambert Estate for the lunch and wine tasting was fantastic too. It’s very picturesque so when you’re not tasting wines there is something to take a photo of. We had the option to buy wines from each winery we visited on the tour and then before leaving the Barossa arrange for them to be posted home. Very handy! A couple of other points to highlight which we experienced during our CP Tour when comparing to other tours we have done in the past. Travelling for the day in a luxury chauffeured vehicle rather than in a big bus is a no brainer. As the tours are small group tours Greig and Vensa can be flexible to cater for your requirements compared to the big bus tour which generally have a strict to the minute schedule. Also, when you're touring in a small group, there is more of a personal touch into making it a great day. We look forward to catching up with Greig and Vesna on a future visit to South Australia and partaking in another one of their tours. Cheers Mark

My husband and I had the luxury Barossa Valley wine tour including lunch at Lambert winery. We had a fantastic day. Our guide Greig picked us up on time and took on a relaxing trip through several of Barossa's main towns, pointing out historical places. The people at the wineries we visited were very informative about their wines. Overall a relaxing day which we would recommend. Lisa
